Senior Consultant at Vallot International Consultants where he assisted foreign governments and businesses seeking to identify private sector trade and investment, cultivate various levels of political contacts in the United States of America and Africa. Fluent in Bamanan, French, and the English languages.
Yoro Diallo
Executive Director
Mr. Diallo is TANEXCO chief fiduciary officer and is responsible for leading all of the administrative and financial functions. He works with other Corporate Executives to ensure that the Company’s financial, capital, and operational resources are optimally deployed in a manner that supports it. He is responsible for financial strategy development, operations and capital budget planning, and the integrity of financial information. Other administrative areas of responsibility are human resources. Mr. Diallo has served as Vice President of Citibank for over 15 years. Responsibilities included quality service delivery of such products as cash letters, letters of credit, clean and documentary collections, money transfers, etc. As disbursement and cash collateral management specialist, he was responsible for structuring an adequate management process of collateral funds from multilaterally financed projects by the World Bank and the African Development Bank. Successfully established Citibank as the lead financial adviser and clearing bank to major African institutional companies. Also performed foreign exchange trading functions and managed Citibank foreign exchange positions and foreign exchange trading operations with trading accounts in the world major investment centers. Mr. Diallo is fluent in English, French, Wolof and Fulani languages.
Brigitte Reech
Director, Finance
Directs the investment and financial functions of the firm. Negotiates and executes contracts for the company. Responsibilities include structuring credit packages tailored to clients’ business needs, financial analysis, projections and financial statement consolidations, country risk evaluation, merger acquisition and project evaluation, and disbursement mechanisms of multilaterally funded projects. Assists the Corporation and its clients come up with investment strategies to meet their financial goals and make investment decisions. Perform balance sheet analysis; examine the audited financial statements and corollary data in order to assess risks. Work with other Directors to gain a better insight into a company's prospects and to determine the company's managerial effectiveness. Assess current trends in business practices, products, and industry competition. Responsibilities include the planning and execution of a wide range of financial strategies to meet TANEXCO’s objectives. Ms Reech has more than 20 years of private banking and institutional asset management. Among others, she has served as Vice President of Compagnie Financiere E.DE Rothschild Banque and Director of Paribas Capital Markets. Ms Reech is fluent in French, English, and a good understanding of German.
Harry C Ackerman
Director, Operations & MRO Liaisons
Executive Operation Officer directing general management functions. Sets and monitors internal policy and management systems. Responsibilities include the organization, development, and implementation of the Company programs and projects. Directs and coordinates department programs; provides technical assistance to managers; reviews and approves group goals; approves administrative services policies and procedures; evaluates program effectiveness through assessment and discussion with inter/intra department staff. Directs the preparation of administration budget; confers with group directors to ascertain mission and goals; monitors group budgets and determines conformance to the budget allocations; researches and plans methodology to reduce costs or secure funding sources; provides training to section heads in budget maintenance. Communicates and coordinates administrative programs. Mineral Resources Office (MRO) manages TANEXCO’s mineral assets and to provide staff to advise the Corporate Executive Board in the development and production of minerals for the purpose of optimizing revenue to the Company from the royalties, bonuses and rentals, joint ventures generated there from. The staff consists of professionals such as geologists, engineers, accountants, auditors, attorneys who conduct the day-to-day operations of the Company's business and provide it with the information and technical advice necessary for the accomplishment of project/business. Mr. Ackerman has a broad-based experience in global trade & investment. Combined 10 years of responsible business experience in Strategic Business Planning, Information & Telecommunications Systems, and Project Planning & Management. Also, considerable experience in identifying and capitalizing upon market opportunities to introduce new products/services, and drive revenue/earnings growth in highly competitive markets. Successfully organized and set up a Telecommunications company in the UK. Mr. Ackerman is fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Brahima Traoré
Director, Global Environmental Services
Administrator, TANEX HOUSE Mali
Mr. Traore manages all functions and projects related to environmental issues, including biodiversity, climate change, international waters, ozone layer depletion, and land degradation (primarily desertification and deforestation). Develops strategies and projects that are environmentally, socially, and financially sustainable. Strengthens institutional relationships with Development Institutions, countries, international conventions, and nongovernmental organizations. Structures and sequences activities to best achieve environmental projects objectives. Works with the same Institutions to complement funding of projects. Incubates innovative business initiatives that deliver environmental and social benefits. Mr. Traore has a PhD in Environmental Engineering and Agro-environmental Protection. He teaches at the University of Bamako, Mali. Among other things, he contributed in putting in place the Programme de Formation Information pour l'Environnement (PFIE) for the Institut du Sahel. He is the author of the following publications: Biological Strengthening Technique for Sustainable Landfill Management, and Effect of Different Fertilizers on Methane from Paddy Field of Zhejiang, China. Mr. Traore is fluent in Chinese, English, French, and Bamanan languages.
Pierre-Emmanuel Czaja
Director, Business Development
Mr. Czaja is in charge of the corporate international business development activities, including the technical review of project requirements and the development of market strategies. He is also responsible for strategic technology planning and for the integration of new technologies into on-going development and research efforts. He has comprehensive experience in front-end analysis, management planning, quality control, and research and development. Mr. Czaja has a broad-based experience in international commerce and business development. Former Global Sales and Marketing Director at Precisport SL (Textile/Merchandising Licensee of Ferrari), and Product manager at Procter & Gamble (UK), TotalFina (France) and HEAD (Spain). Beside degrees
in Physics and Chemistry, and Marketing; he had several executive trainings (Marketing, Finance, and Management) in prestigious universities (Harvard, Stanford, IESE). Mr. Czaja is fluent in English, French, and Spanish. He also has a good understand of Portuguese and Russian.
Maja Vujinovic
Director, Corporate Development and Strategy
Responsible for the planning and execution of a wide range of strategies to meet TANEXCO objectives. Activities include initiatives such as plans for phasing in or out of certain markets or products, establishing relationships with strategic business partners, securing financing, divesting of assets or divisions. Advises on the company’s growth strategy, helps launch new businesses and accelerates the growth of existing ones. Think across the entire portfolio of TANEXCO businesses in order to propose and analyze strategic decisions spanning multiple departments. Ms Vujinovic has a broad based experience in International Project Development and corporate transactions and litigation. Highly effective negotiator and interface with Corporate and Governments officials at all levels. Ms Vujinovic speaks proficiently in English, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, verbal proficiency in French, basic understanding of Swahili.
Noumory Kanté
Financial & Budgeting, TANEX HOUSE Mali
In charge of the TANEX HOUSE Accounting. Operates within the general scope of the position and within TANEXCO budgetary policies. Reports to the Director of Finance. Prepare financial reports. Analyze reports for accuracy; research and resolve any discrepancies. Review financial reports with Director of Finance. Process daily BFS reports and other invoices for payment. Assure timely processing of all invoices and accurate resolution of problems. Monitor payments and credits for accuracy against the BFS system and the SMA accounting system. Reconcile all discrepancies. Gathers, reviews and maintains reports, forms, and records, supporting documentation, cost estimates, authorizations and other information needed in support of administrative responsibilities. Mr. Kanté speaks proficiently in Bamanan, English, and French.
